Our girls group, ages 8-18, has been very consistent for the past 5 years. Our goal is to teach girls to value themselves and to instill into them that they are "somebody special." If you were to ask me, "Why should my daughter join your girl's group? My answer would simply be, "To come along side you, the parent(s) and help build character, increase self-esteem and with Biblical principals, help the girls to learn who they are in Christ Jesus. 

When the girls come together they talk about current events, problem solving, and we have a 15 minute Bible study,  we teach basic sewing, cooking, and encouraging each other.  We meet at a local pizza place and we come together and eat, laugh and play. The girls build long lasting friendships along the way. 

Pamela McCray, CEO and Founder of Girls with a P.H.D. (Purpose, Hope and Destiny). Ms. McCray is a wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and Godmother. A Christian woman who believes in the Trinity; The Father, Son and Holy Spirit. Ms. Pam is a Certified Hospice Volunteer, a Youtube channel host, and Author of "Inspirational Stories of Hope, Love and Encouragement."   Ms. Pam has been married for over 30 years and she has been on the same job for over 30 years.  Ms. Pam is a Deaconess at Calvary Christian Center.  Ms. Pam is excited about her girls group.

Joseph McCray, Vice President

Retired Military Officer, Founder of J.M. Sons Landscaping. Mr. McCray is a highly successful businessman. He has a B.A. in Business Administration and a Master's Degree in Computer Resource/Information Management. He retired from the military with 30 years plus service and he has been married for over 30 years. He is a husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather and Godfather. He is a Christian man with Biblical beliefs. Joseph is a Deacon at Calvary Christian Center.   

Ebony Givens, Secretary, 

Ms. Givens is a strong Christian Woman with Biblical beliefs. Ms. Givens has a Master Cosmetologist License, an Associate Degree in Management, and she has achieved her Residential Planning Certification, which includes designing residential and commercial spaces. She is currently switching careers from an Interior Designer to an Art teacher. Ms. Givens is very creative, and she loves designing. Ms. Given's is engaged with with a combined family of 5 kids. 

Joseph Marcus McCray, Treasurer,  

Mr. McCray, is a strong Christian man with Biblical beliefs. He has a B.A. in Business Science with concentration in Management and a Master's Degree in Business Administration with Human Resources Management. A high school head football coach.  He is an owner of two business's. He is engaged with a combined family of 5 kids. 

Julius McCray,  Youth Advisor

Julius,  is a high school graduate, he is very knowledgeable, he is a leader and he has strong leadership skills. While in high school he was voted into the Leadership Program. While in the Leadership Program, he helped plan events, and held fundraiser's  He also played football throughout high school.
